An amazing egg replacement for baking and other adhesive uses.
Before I went vegan, I always thought that being a vegan meant no cakes, cookies, brownies… anything delicious. How wrong I was!!! If I’d of known you can still have all those tasty things, I would of done it a long time ago!
Check out my Peanut Butter Cookies recipe using a flax egg replacement 🙂
A flax egg is an amazing egg replacer that acts as a binder in baking recipes.
You only need two ingredients – milled flax seeds, and water!
Here’s how you do it 🙂
Ingredients (1 egg)
- 1 tbsp milled flax seeds
- 3 tbsp hot water
- Vigorously mix together the two ingredients for 2 minutes.
- Leave to sit in your fridge for 15-30 minutes, to thicken.
- DONE! You are now ready to make delicious sweet treats 🙂
