Peanut Sauce – Vegan Recipe!

Sweet and salty peanut sauce!


Peanut sauce is probably my all time favourite dipping sauce to have with Asian cuisine and I have created a SUPER easy recipe for it – you won’t believe how simple it is! No fancy equipment needed or any special ingredients you don’t know how to pronounce. You probably already all of the ingredients in your kitchen already!

This beaut isn’t just destined to a life of dipping, you can use it in so many different ways! It makes an amazing sauce to cook with noodles or rice, and you can even use it as a salad dressing. I am drooling just thinking about it!

I enjoyed my peanut sauce with some crispy tempeh skewers (click here for the recipe) and a pak choi and sweetcorn stir fry (recipe coming soon).

I used crunchy peanut butter in my recipe as I prefer my peanut sauce to have some bite to it, but you can use smooth peanut butter if you prefer!

My recipe makes around a jar size, so if you don’t use it all up, you can store it in the refrigerator for around a week πŸ™‚

Prep time: 5 minutes

Serves: 6


  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 6 tbsp crunchy or smooth peanut butter
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds (optional)


  1. Mix all ingredients until fully combined.
  2. ENJOY!!!!
